Example
A 12 ft × 15 ft room is 180 sq ft, which is 20 sq yd or 16.72 m². At $5 per sq ft, flooring costs $900.00. A round patio 10 ft across is π × 5² = 78.54 sq ft.

How much extra flooring should I buy?
Installers commonly add 5% to 10% for cuts and waste, more for diagonal or patterned layouts. Check the product's instructions.
