How to use it
- Pick a start and an end date.
- Choose whether to include the end date. Counting a hotel stay? Leave it off. Counting days of an event? Include it.
Formula
Days = end date − start date (+1 if including the end date)Weekdays counts Monday to Friday and ignores public holidays.
Example
From January 1 to December 31, 2026 is 364 days; including both ends it's 365 days, the full year.
Questions
Does the weekday count skip holidays?
No, only Saturdays and Sundays. Subtract any holidays that apply to you.
What about time zones and daylight saving?
Dates are counted as whole calendar days, so clock changes don't affect the result.
